I'm Helen Kate, the artist behind HelKat Studio.

 

I create contemporary fine art inspired by light, colour and the beauty of the natural world.

Every artwork begins with an idea. Drawing on original photography, careful observation and contemporary digital techniques, I develop each piece through composition, colour, texture and painterly refinement until it becomes the finished artwork

When I'm not creating artwork you'll usually find me walking the Hampshire countryside with my cockapoo Teddy, searching for new colours, light and inspiration
