Returns & Refunds Policy

Last updated: 14 August 2026

We want you to be happy with your HelKat Studio purchase. This policy explains your rights if you change your mind or if there is a problem with your order.

Cancelling an order

If you purchase online as a consumer, you will normally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, in accordance with UK consumer law.

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us using the contact details on our website.

If production has not yet begun, please contact us as soon as possible as we may be able to cancel the order before it is dispatched.

Returns

If you exercise your legal right to cancel, you must return the item to us within 14 days of notifying us that you wish to cancel.

Unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, you will normally be responsible for the cost of returning it.

Please take reasonable care of the item while it is in your possession and package it securely for return.

We recommend obtaining proof of postage when returning an item.

Personalised or customised products

The statutory right to cancel may not apply to goods that are made to your specifications or clearly personalised.

This exception does not affect your rights where an item is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise does not conform to your legal rights.

Refunds

Where you validly cancel an order, we will refund the amounts due in accordance with UK consumer law.

Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase.

We may be entitled to make a deduction from a refund if an item has been handled beyond what would reasonably be necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.

Damaged, faulty or incorrect items

If your artwork arrives damaged, faulty or you receive an incorrect item, please contact us as soon as possible.

Please include your order details and, where possible, photographs showing the problem and the packaging in which the item arrived.

Where an item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, we will work with you to provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory rights. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a replacement or refund.

We will cover reasonable return costs where you are required to return an item because it is faulty, damaged or incorrect.

Delivery damage

Please inspect your order when it arrives. If there is visible damage to the artwork or packaging, contacting us promptly and providing photographs will help us resolve the issue with our production or delivery partner.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
