RÉMINISCENCE

Time changes the face in the mirror, but it does not erase the person who came before.

Réminiscence captures a private moment between past and present. An elegant older woman studies her reflection beneath the warm glow of dressing room lights, while a photograph of her younger self rests nearby. The suggestion of Cannes hints at a life once lived in the glare of attention.

There is no mourning for lost youth here. Instead, the piece is about memory, experience and recognising every version of yourself in the woman looking back.

The years haven't taken her story away.

They've written it on her face.
