UNRAVELLING

Some days, holding it together is the achievement.

Unravelling captures the invisible overload of everyday life. The noise, the demands, the mess, the endless things that need doing and the strange expectation that somehow you should remain composed through all of it.

At the centre sits a woman who looks as though she has reached the precise point where one more request might just tip her over the edge. Yet among the chaos are the small signs of a life being lived: children's drawings, flowers, a dog, a handbag, lipstick and a mug quietly reminding her to “Just Keep Going.”

Because sometimes resilience doesn't look impressive.

Sometimes it looks like sitting at the kitchen table, staring into the middle distance and wondering whether it's too early to hide in the bathroom for ten minutes.
